How do you turn acoustic singalongs into arena anthems? Give them to four sharp young lads from Bath, pop-rock newbies Saint Loe! A quartet of vocal harmony talent, and masterly musicians to boot- their blue-eyed ballads seethe with passion. They convincingly bring a modern-day pop sound back to the live band scene, but whilst you may experience a whiff of nostalgia, Saint Loe have a look and sound that is excitingly and authentically theirs.

The Fangs Of The Dodo

The Fangs Of The Dodo are a 5 piece rock band from Bath who look like they have run from from some amp spangled, neon lit, underworld fairground. Bristling with dark energy and a repertoire so eclectic its hard to hang a genre on them. Having met at Bath Spa University and bonded over their mutual interest in bands such as Queens Of The Stone Age, Radiohead, and Muse, they produce music that walks a high wire between the down right catchy and the out right confusing.

Quirky indie band ‘the prosaics’ are a South-West based 5 piece, combining offbeat lyrical content with didgeridoo and roots / blues inspired folk-rock.

Receiving ever growing publicity and popularity in their local scenes, ‘the prosaics’ are a band with a bright future ahead. The band balances their unique use of interesting folk instruments, with almost orchestral string arrangements and contemporary elements such as beatboxing and electric guitars / synths, to create a refreshingly vintage yet modern sound and aesthetic. After two successful shows at both The Nest and Burdall’s Yard earlier this year, ‘the prosaics’ are a band with a promising following, which is reflected in them headlining and hosting their own vintage night at St James’ Wine Vaults this year also.
