December 17th 1977 was a momentous day in the career of John Otway. It was the day he became a bona fide pop star and a true hit maker.

It was the day that Otway had been dreaming of since he was 9 years old.

40 years, 1 hit, 2 books and a movie later, John Otway is still a star and one of the hardest working acts in the UK.

Otway returns to the city that helped make him the star he always knew he would be. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Hit, Otway will bring his band to The Bullingdon (the closest venue to the old Oranges and lemons) on Sunday 17th December. This gig is not to be missed.
