Macmillan Christmas Fair

This November, Macmillan Cancer Support will be bringing its annual Christmas Fair to Woodlands Castle! Use of the property, which is located just off the Taunton junction of the M5, has been kindly donated by Sir Benjamin Slade and will enable the charity to raise thousands for people affected by cancer.

The fair, which was formerly held at the sister venue of Maunsel House, will boast a huge variety of over 50 Christmas stalls, festive entertainment and children’s activities. The fair has been raising money since 2008 and last year raised over £12,000, which is enough to fund a Macmillan nurse for 3 months or pay for 60 grants for cancer patients. It is hoped that the new venue will attract more people than ever before to come along to share this truly enchanting shopping experience, whilst at the same time supporting people affected by cancer in Somerset.
