James Yorkston, named as the ‘Finest songwriter of his generation’ by the great John Peel, has led a varied and critically-acclaimed career: an original member of The Fence Collective, a highly-praised author, a member of genre-defying Yorkston Thorne Khan and sometime folk-club organiser.
