Helen Hallows. Tall Trees'

Local artist Helen Hallows creates colourful, original artwork using ink, collage and stitch with nature at its heart. Her mixed media landscapes are about peace and joy, about kinship and soulful meditation; images to uplift and inspire.

Inspired by the trees on the beautiful estate surrounding the studio you will sketch outside before returning to the studio to try different techniques to create colour and texture; painting, printing and mark making with a sewing machine. Using the mixed media samples you create overlaid with drawing and collage and stitch your finished canvas would evoke the season and tell the story of your chosen tree.
